Second Thought is a full brother to a winning sprinter and likely to be better suited by this trip than fellow newcomers Silent Echo and Fanfair, who are both bred to do better over further. The latter's trainer Richard Hannon also runs REPTON and he looks the one to be on after a very encouraging debut in a Goodwood race which returned solid speed figures. Leontes also only found one too good on his first start, at Bath, and will have learnt plenty but Stringybark Creek appears to have a lot on his plate giving 6lb and upwards to his rivals as he didn't show much on his first start on Turf.
