Cheveton sets a good standard here after his Bronze Cup win last week and is entitled to go very close with conditions to suit under a 7lb rise, but HAZELRIGG might just be approaching the form of his life and is preferred. Tim Easterby's five-year-old followed up at Doncaster win over the minimum trip with success over the same distance at Ayr last week and also acts in these conditions. Something appears to have clicked with him and he can defy another 9lb rise. Noble Storm has dropped to an attractive mark and represents a yard going well, Desert Phantom will come into it on this bottomless ground, as could course and distance winner Foxy Music.
