Altruism is back in the right grade but has a double penalty to carry. Man From Seville won four times on the Flat and it's taken him just two starts to get off the mark over timber. That victory at Southwell may not have amounted to much but he's an honest sort who should give supporters a run for their money. DOUBLE W'S has been quite highly tried so far but has yet to finish out of the frame over hurdles. His form stands up to scrutiny and he is the one to beat at the weights. Mere Anarchy is totally unexposed and preferred to French import Boston De La Roche and winning pointer Texas Forever of the others.

Man From Seville 20-1 (11-2) Prominent, went 2nd after 3 out, 2 lengths down and one pace when left in lead last, driven out flat, won at Southwell 2m (4) gs in Feb beating Nobel Leader (11-2) by 3 3/4l, 13 ran.
Boston De La Roche (FR) 50-1 (10-12) Led until 2 out, weakened before last, 6th of 9, 34 3/4l behind North Hill Harvey (10-12) at Cheltenham 2m 1f (3) sft in Dec.
Double W's (IRE) 7-4jfav (11-2) Tracked leaders, badly hampered and rider did very well to stay on 7th, lost loads of momentum and dropped back to modest 6th, stayed on from 2 out, went 2nd when not fluent last, closed on winner all the way to the finish, 2nd of 12, 3/4l behind Wade Harper (11-8) at Catterick 2m 3f (4) gs in Feb.
Mere Anarchy (IRE) 10-1 (9-12) Held up and always behind, 7th of 9, 16l behind Good Judge (9-5) at Wolverhampton 1m 4f mdn stks (5) pol in Oct.
