Sir Raston should have won by now and the fact that he's been sent over this much longer distance smacks of desperation though he is a full-brother to a winner over this trip on the all-weather. Carraigin Aonair looks more likely to stay the trip as he was running on when a close fourth over 1m4f a couple of weeks ago but Traidisiun has shown nothing and was beaten a long way when stepped up to 1m6f in a Gowran handicap in October. Roconga won a bumper last May and was going well over timber in the summer, scoring at Cork in August. If he takes to the surface he should go well though the same remark certainly applies to TIGER ROLL. Gordon Elliott's charge, three times a winner over timber including at Cheltenham in 2014, was last seen finishing a long way behind Faugheen in the Champion Hurdle at Punchestown in May but should be ready and his quality can see him home.
