Tonkinese looked useful when landing a Leopardstown maiden in June and was sent to race in much better company but only beat one horse home in his next three starts. He makes his debut on the surface and has to concede 6lb to the race-fit A SHIN IMPALA and that looks beyond him. Tommy Stack's charge made a very promising start here in December before finding the odds-on Ebadan just too strong a month later and will be very difficult to beat. The remaining pair with experience have shown nothing but Ger Lyons' newcomer Rum Shack has a smart pedigree and is one to keep an eye on for the future.
