Pat Smullen will be fancied to complete a last-race double on board Our Manekineko. James Nash's charge hasn't won for almost two years but has dropped to a very fair mark accordingly and ran his best race for a very long time when runner-up to Stoichkhov earlier this month. He looks certain to go well but the concession of a stone to TANSANITE (NAP) may prove beyond him. Tommy Stack's grey seems to find enough trouble in-running as he did when placed behind Rose Angel last month but this is the smallest field he's race in and a clear run can see him gain his first success. Primal Snow showed potential in maidens on the track though has a big weight to carry for his handicap debut but Roter Baron won this a year ago so shouldn't be dismissed despite being well beaten on his return to action three weeks ago.
Primal Snow (USA) 6-1 (9-0) Prominent, a little keen, soon 3rd, pushed along into straight, 4th over 1f out, no impression, 5th of 8, 8 1/2l behind Facade (9-0) at Dundalk 1m mdn fll pol in Nov.

Takeachanceonme (IRE) 8-1 (8-9) Held up in rear, raced off pace in 6th over 6f out, progress to moderate 5th over 5f out, driven over 3f out, no extra 2f out, weakened, tailed off, last of 6, dist behind Lean And Keen (9-12) at Ballinrobe 1m 1f hcp hvy in Jul.
Artistic Integrity 25-1 (8-10) Mid-division, 9th halfway, ridden under 2f out and soon dropped to rear, no extra, 13th of 14, 6 1/4l behind Split The Atom (9-12) at Dundalk 7f hcp pol in Dec.
