In a wide open handicap full of on form runners the selection lands with the improving MAGALING ahead of hat-trick seeking Ezdeyaad and last time out winner Harriet's Girl. The pick has improved in a couple of runs this season since returning from 11 months out. He wasn't beaten far in a better race at York last time and the booking of Graham Gibbons suggests connections are hopeful of a big run from a fair mark. Ezdeyaad was a game winner when completing the two timer last time. He loves this track but has it to prove off a career high mark but any money for him would be interesting. Harriet's Girl capped a progressive run of form with a score at Pontefract on her last start. The assessor hasn't been too harsh so she should show up in the mix. Red Somerset was a winner last time, however, that was in a claimer and this will be tougher while Riqaab is a stable-mate of the pick and should improve after his reappearance run. A tricky puzzle to solve this but Magaling can improve again to score.
