None of the colts look worth supporting here, and it could be a one-two-three for the fillies, with Soul Mountain leading home Demisemiquaver and Passing True. One thing is certain, Soul Mountain will lack for nothing in experience, having had four starts already. Sent off as favourite at Pontefract last time, she proved to be a disappointment in fourth, but having finished in mid-division behind Yaqeen on her Newmarket bow, she does have ability, and will not find many better opportunities than this. Demisemiquaver is related to lots of winners in France, and can pay her way when put into handicaps, while Passing True just has to show more than she did at Kempton. Daweyrr might improve enough to make a play for the places, but this is only moderate, and affords Soul Mountain a good chance of prevailing.
