In depth

Verdict

Not a lot to go on but Henrietta Knight has sent Ice Bucket on a long journey North an that is good enough to recommend him over He's The Gift and The Randy Bishop. Henrietta's recent bumper runners have not disgraced the stable by any stretch of the imagination and this well bred type should be good enough provided that greenness does not get in the way. He's The Gift was quietly fancied prior to his first appearance under rules. He did pull hard but if he is settled - he should be not be discounted on his bare form figure. The Randy Bishop is related to miler Whitgift Rock. He is watched in the market. Peter Beaumont saddles an interesting recruit in Seymar Lad while Tom Tate - a man more than capable of saddling first time out runners - is responsible for the speedily bred Canuseus. The market may dictate many plans from a punting perspective but at the overnight stage, Ice Bucket gets our selection.
