Ex-pointer Kupka stays well but he will need to put up a decent performance to see off Beauchamp Prince and Miss Cospector. Lenny Lungo has suggested that this horse is not a stable star but the way he won at Carlisle certainly caught the eye and with the canny Scot certainly not one to tilt at windmills - this could be another opportunity to take a decent prize. Beauchamp Prince handles the surface and ran well in a decent Juvenile final at Chepstow. The way in which he stayed on in the closing stages suggests that he will have no problems with the extra half mile. Miss Cospector hails from a yard who do well here with their limited runners. Chevet Boy is dropped in trip having had a couple of unremarkable efforts over further. Kupka will need to land this in order to head for bigger targets and we will stick with the in-form Lenny Lungo.
