In depth

Verdict

Not too much strength in depth and Iselido has an obvious chance to regain the winning thread at the expense of Sweet Ard and Aberdare. The top-weight is much better in here than if it were a handicap and having proved herself more than capable on a heavy surface, there are much more positives in her profile than most. Aberdare had no chance against two of the North's leading novice performers last time out. She handles the surface but has to find plenty at the weights. Sweet Ard flopped at Wetherby on her hurdling bow but had shown enough in a bumper at the track to suggest that she'll be winning races. She holds La Perrotine on the bumper form. Elfkirk is sure to appreciate the testing going on pedigree and looks an out-and-out stayer. What's A Filly is here after a recent success but is unproven on the surface and has plenty of improvement to find on previous outings. Iselido looks to have the best form on offer and we see no reason to desert her.
