Verdict

A step up in distance at Lingfield saw Critical Data open her account with something to spare but she now has to give weight to colts and geldings. PABLO ESCOBARR (NAP) has a Group 1 entry later in the year and looked a sure-fire future winner when just beaten by Certain Lad over course and distance on debut - the winner ran well in a Group 2 at the Curragh on Saturday. Drogon has almost three lengths to find with the selection and Triple Distilled will need to find further improvement, though should be suited by the extra furlong. Kuwait Currency cost 72,000gns but jockey bookings suggest he is not his stable’s first string today. Hugo Palmer’s juveniles are always worth a second look here but Hot Team has already been gelded.
