In depth

Verdict

The market may prove the best guide here, and only a tentative vote goes the way of Musical High, with Serevi and King Orchisios others to note. Musical High is bred to be fairly useful, being a daughter of Mozart and related to Arabic Song, a sprint winner in France. She is entered in a couple of big sales races in the autumn, so has obviously shown enough at home to warrant such entries, and need not be anything special anyway to go in first time. Serevi has had the benefit of an outing at York when well beaten behind Marcus Andronicus, and should improve enough to figure, while King Orchisios would be interesting if attracting support as Kevin Ryan has his youngsters in good form at present. Tamagin is well-bred enough to make his mark in time, but like King Orchisios, will fare better when stepped up in trip, and on this occasion they might all find Musical High too speedy.
