Bailieborough has hit top form and can complete a hat-trick at the expense of Mezuzah, Nevada Desert and Full Victory to name but three. Bailieborough has been in terrific form of late, gaining back-to-back wins under Greg Fairley at Redcar, and despite having to shoulder a 6lb penalty for the last of those successes eight days ago, still looks well treated. Having looked back though his past record, the son of Charnwood Forest won on similar going to today's at Pontefract last September, so there are no doubts on that score. Brian Ellison's charge is taken to see off the challenges of a whole host of potentially dangerous rivals, not least Mezuzah. Mick Easterby' s charge is a real mudlark, all three of his wins coming with plenty of cut in the ground. Nevada Desert is at the right end of the handicap, and that will come in handy in these conditions, while Full Victory was not beaten far at Leicester last time and will like the move back up to a mile. He is another that will have no problems if it turns even more testing, but we are happy to side with the in-form Baileborough as the answer.
