      Verdict

      Rahaf looks head and shoulders above his rivals in a contest that is less competitive than it might appear at first glance. After two good efforts Rahaf was a beaten favourite last time when only second to Spiritual Air but in light of that one's good effort in the Group 3 Cherry Hinton Stakes at Newmarket he was probably up against it. There is nothing of Spiritual Air's caliber in the field today, and Rahaf should prove too good for his five rivals. Dazzling Bay would have a squeak if back to his form of earlier in the term but was most disappointing in his last two starts, whilst such as Strong hand and Bahita have a lot to find on the book.
