Bonny Rose is likely to be at short odds for this contest but Mark Johnston's filly has shown a decent level of form in both her starts so far and cannot be opposed, with the main threats looking to be Safebreaker and C'Mon You Irons. The last mentioned showed some promise on his Carlisle debut and makes more appeal for the forecast spot than the more exposed Amber Ridge. Becky Quick is nicely bred but is likely to do better over further next season and a bigger threat is likely to come from Mark Johnston's newcomer Safebreaker. The stable's youngsters are normally better for the run though and stablemate Bonny Rose, who has had the benefit of two previous starts, gets the confident vote.
