Verdict

Secret Flame is an obvious choice and gets the vote here over Compassion and Burn in a race that will not take too much winning. William Haggas saddles two in fact, but Just Dance Me is making her seasonal reappearance and preference is for her stablemate Secret Flame who had her stamina stretched when third to Nuzooa at Newbury last time. The daughter of Machiavellian sets the standard after shaping well on both previous outings against decent sorts as well and should outclass the opposition. Compassion has not had as far to travel and is fit but is fully exposed already and lines up on the back of an appearance in claiming company at Ayr. She may make her presence felt without being good enough to trouble the selection and a bigger danger may be Burn who at least has time on her side. Michael Bell's filly does have eight lengths to make up on the selection on her Newbury debut appearance though and although she can close the gap this time, it may still not be enough to stop Secret Flame from opening her account.
