There was very little between Sessay, Sweet Cando and Trojan Flight at Ayr on Thursday, so with the likelihood of the former being available at the longer odds, Sessay is selected to come out on top today. Best Desert and Mecca's Mate are others that hold each-way claims - the latter especially as his recent form ties in with the recent efforts put in by the selection. Trojan Flight is sure to be a popular choice after notching up a series of good performances. However, he ran as if the assessor now has his measure earlier in the week and looks vulnerable here. David Nicholls usually has his string primed and ready at this stage of the season and, as the lightly raced Sessay has shaped as if his turn is not too far away, this looks the ideal time to give him another chance, as he obviously appreciates a fair bit of give underfoot. Sweet Cando is the value call to give the selection the most to do.
