Love Palace stands out here and is selected over Kaimes Park and Habian. The Mark Johnston-trained colt holds some valuable previous experience of the course and faces a much easier task than the one he was presented with when he last raced. The son of King's Best was far from disgraced against some very useful types and that piece of York form sets the standard here. Kaimes Park ran well in defeat over course and distance on his debut and dropped a significant hint that there are races to be won with him. The form of that race is working out quite well and he can make a race of it for forecast players. Habian has been well beaten in both his previous starts and has improvement to find - a comment that applies to each of the rest with previous experience. Peter Roughley is a cheaply purchased type that will no doubt benefit from the experience today. But nothing makes more appeal than Love Palace, who appears to face a straightforward opening here.
