A tough race to call can go to Enchantment, who is marginally preferred over Simianna, Kind and Forever Phoenix, who should all ensure that this goes right down to the wire. The selection is the best in at the weights and has to be respected accordingly. She has held her own in good company and holds solid claims on the terms of the race. Whereas Simianna has been a real credit to her connections over the last three season and she has enough form to recommend her in a good light today. However, she picks up a 4lb penalty for winning a Listed race at Chester last week and that could be her undoing here. She is very reluctantly left alone today. Autumn Pearl has to be given a mention, as she is very lightly raced and still open to further improvement. However, she has been away from the action for quite a while and may find one or two are a little sharper for this. Forever Phoenix has been hard to predict lately and her habit of missing the kick is becoming a frustrating trait at this level. Kind, who swept to a four-timer when she last raced, also has to be given a second look, as her trainer has a remarkable strike-rate with his sprinters. She comes along way for this and is another that will be hard to keep out of the frame. However, Enchantment has race fitness on her side and, as she will find this much easier than some of the contests she has taken part in this season, it seems too harsh to desert her now she is back against her own sex.
