    Verdict

Michael Bell has left very few stones unturned in the search for winners and he can again strike with Magic Bell, who gets the nod over Lauro and Familiar Affair, who both come here with sound claims to at least make the frame. An each-way case can also be laid out for Jordans Elect, who goes well at this track - having already landed two course and distance victories in the past. However, he faces no easy task at the weights and may find one or two have his measure at the finish. Familiar Affair is open to plenty of improvement and shapes as if this trip will suit. He holds Fossgate from their encounter at Ripon and should go well over a trip that should be within his stamina capabilities. Lauro is another that has handled this course well in the past and has obvious claims at the weights. However, Magic Sting has really found his racing shoes of late and this tough and consistent campaigner can follow up his latest success if he is in the same determined mood today.
