A winner at Carlisle, Harvey Dent was beaten racing off today’s mark at Chester last time and Restive never figured over a longer trip at Ayr having won over track and trip before that. It was soft going when Ghalib won here last month while Kuwait Station hasn’t progressed as expected having been gelded at the end of last year. Tough Remedy hasn’t been at his best but his yard has won three of the last five renewals while Kalagia hasn’t raced since September. LOCH NESS MONSTER (NAP) failed to stay 1m3f at Kempton last week but ran well in Class 2 company over a mile at Sandown earlier and it’s Mick Appleby’s charge that gets the vote to take advantage of today’s drop in class.
