        Verdict

        Few make any appeal on recent form though ARNOLD gave notice a return to winning ways was imminent when beaten only a head at Newcastle last time. He gets the vote ahead of Bronze Beau, a runner-up at Yarmouth a fortnight ago and a prolific course winner though his last success was back in 2017. It’s even longer since Astrophysics last won on Turf and it was soft going when he placed at Beverley last time while Super Julius hasn’t figured since scoring at Musselburgh in April. Classic Pursuit tumbles further down the weights but looks no nearer getting his head back in front.
