The short list in another competitive sprint is made up of Brut, Ptarmigan Ridge, Katie Boo and Rothesay Dancer, with the selection being Brut. Harrison's Flyer is running well but has a penalty to defy for his latest win, but Brut is another that goes well at this track and, being four pounds above a winning mark, looks set to go well as we feel that he can be competitive from his current mark in this company. Garstang took advantage of a good mark to dead heat at Ayr last time and, clearly in good heart, is another to consider. Ptarmigan Ridge has dropped to a very fair mark and comes here on the back of a good Musselburgh run, while Katie Boo - along with Joyeaux - is closely-weighted with Brut based on a course and distance second eleven days ago and is another to very much consider. Strensall has dropped to below a winning mark and can be considered, while the lightly-raced Exponential should have better to come. Rothesay Dancer bounced back to form at Musselburgh five days ago and, if in the same sort of form, has to be considered, while Seafield Towers will have to recapture 2005 form in order to feature, and Egyptian Lord seems better on the all-weather. It is another competitive race with, once again, Brut being the choice.
