Linda Perratt's King's Head has slipped down to a fair mark for handicaps after some below par efforts this term but he has plenty to find at the weights in this event in which it is hard to oppose SAND TIGER, who gets the vote with Shy Glance rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has struggled in two starts in handicaps since winning at Musselburgh in April but he has an obvious chance at the weights, judged by official BHA ratings, dropped into this claimer and gets the vote to resume winning ways. Jim Goldie's Graceful Descent has been holding her form well in recent starts in handicaps and is only marginally worse in with Sand Tiger than if this was a handicap so he has to be respected. Paul Midgley's Lava Steps should appreciate the return to the level having disappointed in a claiming hurdle last time but more solid claims are held by Peter Monteith's Shy Glance, who has not been running badly in handicaps of late and has every chance dropped into this company. The vote though goes the way of Sand Tiger, who has an obvious chance and he can give weight away to his rivals.
