Verdict

Rare Coincidence is back on a handy mark and this course and distance winner can go in again at the main expense of La Vecchia Scuola and Living On A Prayer. The selection is at his best on fast ground and over this sort of trip and his current mark of 61 makes him an attractive proposition in what is not a hot handicap, so he will do for us. La Vecchia Scuola has ability and comes from a yard that does very well here, so he is respected, though whether he has the stamina to get home is a different matter. Living On A Prayer has not won at this trip but she was not far away when runner up over a furlong further at Musselburgh last year and with ground to suit she looks a serious threat. Bad Boy Al has been dropped 1lb after a pleasing enough handicap debut last time and if he can show some consistency then his chance is very much respected. Knight Valliant comes from an in-form yard and was useful over hurdles so he will probably have the abiltiy to show some improvement on the flat and don't rule him out. It's been a long time between turf wins for Easibet Dot Net, who despite what looks an attractive mark can be taken on again, and Beverley winner Wulimaster looks a better proposition over slightly further. Even so, Rare Coincidence has a fair bit going for him and gets the nod.
