Verdict
Lucky Punt has shown promise in all three starts so far but is not certain to go on the ground, which should not cause any problems to Richard Hannon's Souter's Sister, who ran well in the soft at Newbury last time but preference is for stable companion Vien. Being by Captain Rio out of a Rousillon mare, the testing conditions should pose no problems to the mount of Richard Hughes and he is taken to make a winning debut. Barry Hills has his string in good form and his runner Hail Promenader has to be respected but the son of Acclamation is far from certain to go on the ground. Pat Eddery's Redback colt Arachnophobia should handle the ground but none of these are bred to handle the testing conditions better than Vien, who gets the vote.
