Carlitos Spirit has shown improved form for the switch back to turf from the Polytrack, winning his last two starts including on a soft surface, and Rod Millman's gelding is taken to make it three on the bounce, getting the verdict ahead of Prince of Thebes and Cactus King. The last mentioned has run well in both starts this season and he would have every chance if handling the cut in the ground. Zero Cool will have no problems with the underfoot conditions but Gary Moore's colt may be a shade high in the weights. Luca Cumani's Kestrel Cross has yet to prove that he handles ground this soft, while Russian Epic does handle it but is another that is facing a battle against the handicapper. Prince of Thebes ran well when finding just Phluke too good at Warwick last time and has every chance on that evidence but he is better on faster ground and a better bet looks to be Carlitos Spirit.
