Any support for the ex-Irish Spavento should be noted with the blinkers back on however RIDE A WHITE SWAN is on a roll and is preferred to Mandarin Spirit and Top Bid. Derek Shaw's gelding has won three of his last four starts on the all-weather and looks to have found significant improvment for the application of cheek-pieces. Whislt it is a worry that his wins have come solely at Wolverhampton, it seems folly to desert him now that he has found the winning thread. The Bear is a course and distance winner and is not discounted after a nice pipe-opener at Musselburgh, Top Bid needs a market check on this return to action with Graham Gibbons taking over in the saddle, whilst Frisbee and Sea Salt need to improve for their comeback efforts. Mandarin Spirit runs this track well and his run behind Hawkeyethenoo last time reads well, however the vote of confidence goes to the in-form Ride A White Swan.
