Verdict

MAVEN has a small penalty for making all in this grade at Chantilly but Wesley Ward’s speedster has the beating of Fan Club Rules on that run and should be suited by the track. The filly Liberty Beach easily won a Listed race at Sandown after finishing fourth in the Queen Mary and looks a big danger. Air Force Jet bounced back from a poor run at Ascot to finish second in Listed company at Tipperary while Hand On My Heart overcame inexperience to make a winning start at Windsor and is from a yard that has unleashed some useful two-year-olds this season. Dr Simpson showed good pace when easily landing the odds at Chester but faces much stiffer competition for the lead here.
