The market will prove useful but GYR, Magaling, Run For The Hills and Frognal should be among the leading players with preference for the first named. John Dunlop's well-bred son of Pivotal made a pleasing debut over this course and distance and his experience of this track certainly won't harm his cause. A half-brother to Invincible Spirit, he looked sure to derive plenty of benefit from that experience and may be able to put it to good use here. Frognal should be all the better for his run in a Sandown maiden, Run For The Hills shaped nicely in a decent-looking heat at Newmarket and Magaling is sure to have plenty of supporters following his narrow defeat to subsequent nursery winner Khor Dubai. He's one of a handful in this race with big-race entries for later in the year and is clearly well regarded. Run For The Hills and Seek 'N Destroy are others with big targets over the coming months but Gyr may be able to come out on top today.
