Swop is sure to be popular but we're prepared to take him on with MOUNTAIN PRIDE whilst Kings Point may be worth an interest at a price. Following Mountain Pride's win at Sandown, John Dunlop was reported to have said that they were most disappointed that he had flopped over 10 furlongs as they thought the world of him. However, he showed just why they held him in such high regard with a taking performance over a mile last time and he can overcome a 6lb rise in the weights and step up in class now that connections have found the key to him. Swop is clearly well regarded and there should be more to come from him but the handicapper hasn't taken too many chances and this will be a different test for him. Dandy Nicholls inherited a well-handicapped horse in Kings Point and this former course winner has recaptured some form of late. He wasn't seen at his best on soft ground last time but will relish the faster ground on offer here and is just the type of horse that his yard does so well with. He could show up well at a price.
