This should be a very informative juvenile event as it carries Group 3 status and has attracted a very good line-up, among them being Mixed Blessing, Nannina and Deveron, with the vote going to Nannina. Kieren Fallon teams up with Mixed Blessing again following their good Princess Margaret Stakes win. She is a useful filly, as is Nannina, who was three lengths behind her in third at Newbury, but is now five pounds better off at the weights. Much as Mixed Blessing might have benefited from an astute ride by Fallon - the pair came up the stands rail (eventually breaking the track record) - it would be dangerous to underestimate her. However, Nannina did not get the best of runs there and she can be rated higher too. The Sweet Solera Stakes third, Deveron, also gets a favourable mention, and she holds Hanoona based on that form, with, also, Rising Cross having finished a length and a quarter behind her at Newmarket, with Spinning Queen a further three-quarters-of-a-length behind. Finally, Psychic Star is promising but needs to improve to feature, while Malinche represents French form that does not look quite good enough. Hopefully, the selection, Nannina, will be.
