The winners of the English, French and Irish 2000 Guineas are on parade again, just as they were in the St James's Palace Stakes when Galileo Gold came out on top against THE GURKHA and Awtaad. Galileo Gold had been beaten by Awtaad at the Curragh but had his measure at Ascot and should beat him again but Aidan O'Brien's charge is a different proposition. A very impressive winner at Deauville, he probably should have won at the Royal meeting as he appeared to be held up too far out of his ground. He's since just failed to stay 1m2f on soft going in the Eclipse and this looks his trip and ground. Ribchester wasn't beaten far in the first colt's classic at Newmarket and has since won the Jersey Stakes in impressive fashion while Toormore has a very good record on the track and should give a good account.
