Smoothly Does It was just pipped at Windsor last time and can go one better here at the expense of Beachamp Star and Chasing The Dream. This son of Efisio contested some decent two-year-old events last season and after a pipe opener at Bath, improved to finish second to Foley Prince, who gave the form a boost by running well on Monday. Ted Durcan has been booked to ride and he can boot this one home for Amanda Bowlby. Beauchamp Star is improving with each run and made Dreaming Of You pull out all the stops at Warwick last time. He looks very well treated for his first handicap venture. Chasing The Dream looked in need of the run at Salisbury last time and could be a different proposition this time around. Of the others Uncle John could go well if fit, but Smoothly Does It is the horse in form and gets the nod.
