If any juvenile deserves to win a race it is Grand Option and this looks a good opportunity for Brendan Duke's colt, Ragged Glory and Blue Marble may give him most to do. This son of Compton Place has come up against some decent two-year-olds, including Prince Charming and Norcroft Lad. The opposition today do not look the strongest and a first victory looks within his grasp. Ragged Glory has to be the main threat having finished a promising fourth behind Gortumblo in a decent looking race at Goodwood recently. Of the newcomers Blue Marble is trained by Clive Brittain and looks the part on paper being bred for speed by Fraam out of an Efisio mare. Lakesdale is a Desert Style filly, she cost just eight thousand guineas but hails from a top yard and should be noted for any market moves. However on this occasion we will stick with the form horse and that is Grand Option.
