Nothing jumps off the card to say "back me" in this lowly contest, but TIGNELLO would seem to have a better chance than most, and he gets the vote, in preference to Seasonal Cross and Inside Story. These horses are running at this level for a reason though, with little decent form between them of late, and no positive consistency. Gary Moore's Tignello is lightly raced, and can run too keenly at times; third at Bath last time out, this sort of trip suits him, and he's well in at the weights. Seasonal Cross had his best outing last time out when finishing third at Warwick, and a positive ride from the outset could pay dividends. Inside Story has been tried over different trips and in a variety of conditions; connections bought him for just 2,000 Guineas in the autumn, and they get plenty of runs out of him, including the occasional win. This is his sort of company. It's not a race we'd be lumping on, but our tentative backing goes to Tignello.
