It's hard to ignore a Richard Hannon runner in this sort of contest, especially one with a little experience, so we'll side with FLAPJACK, in preference to his debutante Reach For The Sky and another newcomer, Just The Tonic. This is Flapjack's fourth outing, and she looks like she's getting better with each run. Handily drawn, she's unlikely to be a world-beater having only cost ¿10,000 but she stays on well at this level and is open to further improvement. Six of the field of ten are having their first run, including the other two on our shortlist. Reach For The Sky is entered for the Super Sprint at Newbury. A cheap purchase, she could be absolutely anything, and gains weight all round. It's hard to say whether she is the yard's second string or not. Mick Channon's getting a good return from his two year olds at the moment, so any support for Just The Tonic should be noted. Likewise for any of the other debutantes, but we'll support Flapjack.
