A wide open handicap in which we'll chance our luck with IMAAM, but Laudatory and Dalradian come into calculations too. John Gosden's colt broke his maiden at the fifth time of asking last time out following a string of seconds, and steps into handicap company for the first time. That first run this year certainly showed he'd trained on well, and he's racing off a fair mark, with four pounds in hand on the top weight Laudatory. He finished out of the frame last time out after finding some trouble in running, but he ran a good race when chasing a hat-trick. As with Imaam, it's a slight step up in trip, but that looks to be a positive. Dalradian's from a family of winners, but his only success to date has come on the Polytrack. He may not be the most straightforward of rides though. It's one of those competitive handicaps in which we wouldn't be surprised what wins, but our preference is for the in-form Imaam.
