Verdict
Few can be seriously considered in an ordinary event and Tallassee looks the one to beat while Dancing Nugget and Head To Kerry are the main dangers. Gerard Butler's filly showed little in three starts over inadequate trips in maiden company but showed more sparkle on her handicap debut when a staying-on third in a fair handicap over ten furlongs at Ayr on her latest start. Being an unexposed sort, she may well prove capable of further progress and can open her account with the extra two furlongs sure to suit. Dancing Nugget ran well when placed in a slightly better grade at Haydock last time and is now 1lb lower so merits plenty of respect while Head To Kerry also enters calculations. The last named chased home a well treated rival over this trip at Wolverhampton last time but was well clear of the remainder and the winner has boosted the form since so clearly rates a threat at this level.
