In depth

Verdict

Not the strongest of races for the track and this appears a good opportunity for Baker Of Oz to open his account at the main expense of Malin while Bahama Reef and Chanfron are others to consider. Richard Hannon's harge made a pleasing introduction when narrowly denied behind a well regarded type at Salisbury earlier in the month. There was plenty to admire about the way the selection travelled on that occasion and, with the benefit of experience, this well related type should prove hard to beat. Malin also showed plenty of ability on his recent Newmarket debut and will prove well suited by the step up in trip so has to be feared. Bahama Reef has shown a useful level of form but is a little more exposed and could prove vulnerable while Chanfron is progressing along the right lines and could reach a place but Baker Of Oz looks a colt with some potential and can prevail.
