A very interesting fillies maiden that should provide a few winners as time goes on. However, Park Romance appeals as the one to be with today and the daughter of Dr Fong, who hails from a yard that are just stepping things up a gear, is expected to know exactly what is required of her at the first time of asking. The Mick Channon-trained Shivaree and John Gosden's Some Night are others that also have to be considered and the market will give a very good indication behind their chances - while Baltic Dip, although respected on pedigree, is likely to improve with age and may be seen to better effect over slightly further. Marianis is another that may find this trip on the sharp side if she has inherited her family traits, and she is one to watch as she makes her debut. Whereas Mystery Maid, the only runner in the field with experience, already has improvement to find and is not hard to overlook for win only purposes here. Which brings us back to Park Romance, who will be expected to start repaying her 200,000gns purchase price sooner rather than later and looks to have been found a good platform to launch her racing career this afternoon.
