Not an easy race to get a handle on and the betting market should be watched with interest, particularly if it points to the selection Zarova, but Bond City, Shingle Street and Indibraun are others that make some appeal. The well-related Zarova cost 60,000 euros and, even though his stable is not noted for winning juveniles, he has a likeable profile and this is probably not the strongest of contests. If the betting speaks in his favour, this would give us more confidence. Mark Johnston's runners always have to respected and he runs Saint Clements, who is very much American bred. Brian Smart is having a good campaign so Bond City is another to pay heed to, while Shingle Street is related to horses that won as juveniles, as is Hamburg Springer. Of those to have run, Indibraun's form probably is the pick and he should improve again with that experience under his belt. Overall, though, we give the call to Zarova.
