      Verdict

      Potentiale deserves to get his head in front but the John Hills-trained gelding keeps on finding at least one too good and is likely to be placed at best again in a race taken to go to VANADIUM, who gets the verdict ahead of Tamasou. The last mentioned showed improved form for Garry Moss at Pontefract last month when chasing home Marvo and he has every chance but has been raised 2lbs since then. Teen Ager has been running well on the Polytrack of late and returns to turf on a fair mark but he has yet to show the same level of form on turf. Ivory Lace has run well off the same mark as she races off today in each of her last two starts and she has solid claims but has yet to prove that she stays a mile. Simon Dow's My Shadow disappointed at Bath last time and now looks best watched in a race taken to go to Vanadium. Gary Moore's gelding showed improved form when second at Wolverhampton last time and, off just a 1lb higher mark today, he can go one better.
