Greenwich Village has been in good form on the Polytrack of late with wins at Lingfield and Kempton followed by a decent effort in defeat back at Lingfield last time but he seems a shade high in the weights now back on turf and preference is for STORYLAND, who gets the vote with Crackentorp rated the best of the rest. The selection showed improved form at Epsom earlier this month when staying on well to claim fourth place behind Coin Of The Realm over 1m4f and, with the extra two furlongs likely to suit, the William Haggas-trained filly has solid claims off the same mark. Mick Channon's Aaim To Prosper ran better here last time and he has to be considered, while Mark Johnston's Yes Mr President cannot be discounted stepping up to a distance that should suit. Andrew Balding's Relative Strength runs as though the longer trip today should suit but he is not certain to appreciate the extra two furlongs and more solid claims are held by Crackentorp. Ralph Beckett's gelding is less exposed than his rivals after just four starts, should not be inconvenienced by the step up to 1m6f and he has to be strongly considered. Marginal preference though is for Storyland, who is taken to gain a deserved first success of the season today, having run well in defeat at Epsom last time.
