Some interesting newcomers here including Henrik and Qadar, but we will go with the only form on show and select Chalison. Richard Hannon¿s colt made a very pleasing debut at Windsor making Beaver Patrol pull out all the stops. The winner has since performed with credit at Chester and again at Windsor in listed company so the form looks rock solid. Improvement should be forthcoming and he can go one better today. Qadar trained by Marcus Tregoning, is superbly bred by Xaar out of a top class Green Desert mare. He was a very expensive yearling and has long range entries in the big Autumn sales races. Henrik could be the pick of the Mick Channon pair, he cost 100 thousand guineas as a yearling and is bred to be a speed merchant . Silver Wraith is from a shrewd yard and is worth checking out in the betting, but Chalison can make the most of his experience and gets our confident vote.
