In depth
Verdict
Itemise has shown plenty of ability and takes a welcome drop in grade having failed to make an impact in Listed company last time. Mark Johnston's filly is held in high regard and holds an engagement in the Fillies Mile but may be worth opposing at likely cramped odds. Impersonator shaped well on his debut but was most disappointing last time and now has something to prove but Royal Indulgence has demonstrated a useful level of form and will appreciate the return to a mile. However, the percentage call goes to Spider McCoy who confirmed the merit of his initial outing when narrowly denied over this trip in a Thirsk maiden earlier in the month and may be able to show the necessary improvement to prevail in an interesting contest.
