In depth

Verdict

Ryders Storm won unchallenged at Fontwell, making all and jumping well in the main and he will be hard to beat despite his penalty. Ashton Vale also won well on his hurdling debut when quickening up in fine style to score despite running green and he looks a danger but he may not be able to keep tabs on Ryders Storm in the early part of the race. Double Spey showed only a modicum of ability on the flat but his stable has done well with it's juvenile hurdlers and is worth a look in the market. Duds also showed a modicum of ability on the flat but that was over sprint trips and he may struggle to stay. Mr Midaz was second over seven furlongs but again looks a doubtful stayer, the remainder also need to improve on there flat form to score while the debutantes do not stand out on breeding.
