THUNDEROUS MOOD may be able to land this at the expense of Rondeau and Phantom Whisper amongst others. The selection was a smart juvenile performer which saw him start off his three year old career on a mark of 104 but that had dropped to just 78 on his final start of 2009 in December. He's a pound higher now and is clearly competitive these days and may be able to gain due reward. He wasn't beaten far at Windsor last time when Phantom Whisper was amongst those behind but Rod Millman's course and distance winner is on a decent mark these days and will pop up in one of these races one of these days. Rondeau has done the majority of his racing on the all-weather but has won on turf at Brighton which bodes well for his chance of handling the contours and he's gone close from similar marks in the past. Sherjawy was winning for the third time in seven starts when taking the honours at Brighton so can't be ignored whilst My Kingdom is also capable of making his presence felt but Thunderous Mood is taken to strike.
