In depth

Verdict

Allmankind showed major improvement from his opening run to chase home Dutch Treat at Yarmouth with an odds-on chance in third and further progress can see him in the firing-line. Calculation looked very inexperienced at Sandown and will have come on markedly as will Le Don De Vie for a very promising start at Newmarket where he was in touch throughout. Sir Ron Priestley was only beaten a head at Ffos Las and will know much more here but though LINE OF DUTY was beaten when odds-on at Haydock the front pair had the remainder well beaten and the winner has since run well in Listed company so he gets the nod.
